Let's do lunch at Oshkosh! Last year we had a great time with a good crowd. Plan to join us again this year! New folks are always welcome too!

Our lunch will be at the SOS Brothers tent, sometimes referred to as the Beer Tent, the Big Yellow Tent or even The Place Under the Big Beer Balloon. Although take note, often our tent is actually white! You may have noticed this property as you drove into the EAA grounds as the very last private property on the left side, with parking flaggers hoping to wave you in as you drive by.

To reach the our tent on foot, just walk straight west from the north side of the main control tower (by the FAA building) down Waukau Road, which will take you past the Bus Center, North of the Blue lot and South of the Green lot. For most of us, this is the main road on which we drive in. Cross to the north side of the road along the way, continue west and cross the beltline road past the flaggers, then across a little wooden bridge and you're on the grounds. Walk past the main tent and watch for our banner.

As in previous years, we will have a large tent for ourselves and the meal will be served directly out of the Sosnoski brothers kitchen. We usually eat here at least a couple of times during the show and have always found their food to be excellent. You will also be able to purchase an adult beverage with lunch if you'd like.

Our tent will be just beyond the main tent, look for the signs or ask for the Cardinal Flyers. Last year it was just to the west of the main tent.

If you have never been to the CFO lunch at Oshkosh, please take a look at the report from 2010 to get an idea of who comes and what goes on.

Please note we're on Thursday, the better to let the mid-week folks get home before the weekend rush.

We don't usually do a substantial program at this event, but we do hear from some CFO sponsors with interesting Cardinal product news and discuss some of the things we've seen at Oshkosh which are of interest to those of us who own and operate Cardinals. Plan to stay and converse afterward if you choose.

Cost: $30 per person if pre-registered (with valid card), $25 for a spouse or non-pilot guest. Prices are slightly higher if you were not pre-registered.
