Hi Joe,

Looks like you had a pretty good signup for the flyin yesterday, how did it all go? Have any pictures to share?

Keith

I couldn't believe it- I thought that we had a great turn-out! Was worried I would be feeding burgers to the local FBO dog : )

Beautiful day at BYG without a cloud in the sky (some wind, but ops normal for wyo). It was great to hear Cardinal after Cardinal in line to land. (11 aircraft including mine and one 182 driver that liked to land downwind at about 100 kits and slipped in on me at the ramp with our line up of Cardinals!

One guy (Steve I think) flew from Torrance, CA! Crazy! Another guy (retired airline) hitched commercial to Casper then rented a car to Buffalo! Again I couldn't believe it!

BBQ seemed to go well and folks enjoyed Elk burger and Iowa brats. Airport board member came out and followed us around during our visits to the individual aircraft.. Was very impressed and wants to go bigger and better next year!

Buffalo paper came out to take pics and interviewed folks- should have a nice write up and I will try to track it down when it comes out. I want to make it an annual event about the same time in August, but next year I am serving steaks as you fly that far I want to make it worth it!

We also learned that one RG is very hard to start, but once airborn flies well with the baggage door open!

Heres are a few pics I took and I will do a more formal write up for CFO when I get a chance- (back to school tomorrow!) Thanks for the support and great time!

Joe Fieler

Webmaster's note: If we get an update from Joe we'll update this version of the report. Keith
