AOPA Catch - A - Cardinal Project

AOPA Catch A Cardinal

A Cardinal is reborn!

The news came first from the membership... there was something going on at AOPA that had to do with Cardinals. First a mention at a AOPA town hall, then a story heard from the friend of a friend...

Then we got a quiet inquiry from Julie at AOPA. We've know Julie for a long time, she always stops by to say hello at aviation events. Would we like to take a look at the AOPA's new Sweepstakes Cardinal? You bet!

Since then we've been thinking and discussing and sharing ideas and suggestions with Julie and the AOPA Catch A Cardinal team. They are a fun loving bunch, but they get a lot done too!

Along the way we've been interested to see what a real 'full-house' restoration looks like. We're so used to fixing up whatever we had that some of the methods of restoration come as a surprise. But we're learning even as we seek to share, happily adding our experience to the team.

Julie has kindly expressed an interest in the thoughts of the CFO membership, and will be bringing the AOPA Cardinal to the CFO convention in Batavia, Ohio in the late spring.

Of course the rollout of news will come appropriately from the AOPA Sweeps page, but there are a few pages here on the CFO system which support this activity. Most of them require membership to view, so as to protect AOPA's control of the event, and in part to recognize the CFO membership's contribution to the knowledge which our organization has accumulated.

Here are the current pages relevant to the Catch A Cardinal program:
