Daytona Beach, FL - March 5, 2008 - Power Flow Systems, Inc. is excited to announce we have developed a tuned exhaust for the C177RG.  This exhaust meets all of our design requirements and delivers substantial improvements in the performance of the C177RG.
 
Over the past six months, Power Flow Systems, Inc. has been hard at work developing this tuned exhaust system.  Due to the design of the engine compartment on this model, our existing exhaust designs would not fit.  It required a 'clean-sheet' design to fit inside the cowling and work around the existing engine mount and nose landing gear elements.
 
Due to the unique design and limited market size for the Cessna 177RG, PFS does not want to fully commit to the high cost of FAA certification and production tooling of the exhaust unless a significant number of C177RG owners will commit to the purchase of the exhaust.
 

Performance          Improvements  
      -         3-7 knots faster (3 knots is minimum guarantee)

-         Up to 1.5 gallons per hour fuel savings at current speeds

-         Up to 20% improvement in rate of climb

-         Increase in service ceiling - 2000-5000 feet
Pre-Production Pricing 
Although we need at least 30 deposits to proceed, we have created an extra incentive program to provide the lowest possible pricing:

$5,400 for full system (polished tailpipe) + shipping.

            $5,600 for full system (ceramic tailpipe)  + shipping.
