Welcome to the Cardinal Prepurchase page, where owners of Cardinals
have worked to share information that you might need before you
purchase a Cardinal. The Prepurchase area is open to the public: you do not have to be a
CFO member to read the information in this part of the system.
There is much more to know than these pages reflect, however. You will
see links to some of that information as you surf this area. This section
will give you a general idea of what it means to own and operate a Cardinal.
But to learn enough to actually buy one, you will be well served by
joining CFO and following each link through the education that it will
Start by browsing through the wealth of information on the hotlinks along the left
side of this page. We have made hundreds of pages of information available here, for free, to help you know if the Cardinal is the right airplane for you. Determine if the Cardinal really does fit your needs, and get an idea of the kind of information you should have to purchase a good one.
If you like what you see as you read about the Cardinal, you should
give serious consideration to joining
us in CFO. Membership is required to enter the advanced prepurchase area.
Why do you need to be a member to access this information? The advanced area is for people who have concluded that the Cardinal is right for them, and are seriously engaged in the search and purchase of a Cardinal. To find an purchase a good Cardinal much deeper and more detailed information can be very useful.
This deeper information is full of specifics: the personal experiences of our members, complete with their names and contact information. We keep this information behind our membership firewall to protect the privacy of our members. With this protection we can all be free to share our true feelings, be open about our opinions and fully disclose our experiences.
With membership you can also dive much more deeply into the technical details required to make a good purchase decision. We hear tales of buyers who chose not to invest $34 on membership until after they had purchased, then spent hundreds or thousands resolving issues that the deeper knowledge would have avoided.
You're spending thousands on an airplane... spend the price of a tank of fuel for your car on the knowledge to make a good decision! This is not about us making a few bucks, it is about you getting the info you need to make a wise decision. For your own good, take the step! If you're not ready for that, you're probably not really ready to buy.
If you have questions that are not answered here,
or have a suggestion for something to add to this page, please drop
a note to me, Keith Peterson, the Webmaster.
And when you do decide to purchase a Cardinal, be sure to browse through the CFO classified ads.
