Cardinal Specific
Operational Training

It's said that a truly excellent pilot uses their superior judgment to avoid needing their superior skill.

But from time to time we have to ask ourselves: Are our skills really up to date? And does our judgment really consider all that is known about the operation of the Cardinal?

There is only one way to answer this question, and that is to measure yourself against a standard of excellence. To be effective the standard must encompass the full range of the remarkable capabilities of the Cardinal.

Cardinal Flyers Online is pleased to help bring this level of operational training to the Cardinal community through our support of Guy Maher's Cardinal Flight Operations Clinics.

Guy has created a program that leverages his years of experience, his personal knowledge and his thousands of hours of operating and training in Cardinals. Guy's knowledge and experience will help all of us find our limits, sharpen our skills and extend our abilities.

Guy is a very experienced Cardinal instructor, who also offers private Cardinal specific ground and flight instruction year-round. (Click on the associated link on the left for more information about this individual instruction available through Guy.)

The operational training that Guy has developed complements the services provided by the Cardinal Flyers Online. Where the digest and web page focus on the mechanical details of how things work, how to make them better and the thoughts and comments of fellow Flyers, Guy's training zeros in on practical training of in-flight actions and options. The training teaches the things that you should know and consider while in flight.

Guy offers this training at special CFO gatherings where only this operational training is done. There are no technical sessions, no social gatherings, no sight seeing, only serious talk about Cardinal operations and the business of maximizing our knowledge and abilities in operating Cardinals.

There will also be opportunities to fly with Guy in scheduled slots wrapped around these events. Check the event signup pages for availability and scheduling.

For further information about Guy, the training program, the training schedule and sign-up pages, please click on the appropriate items in the menu in the left side-bar.

Odds are that your Cardinal is more capable than you are. Are you ready to sharpen your judgment and hone your skill? Are you ready and able to step up to the challenge?

If so, we'll see you at a Cardinal Flight Operations Clinic soon.
